The sustainability of the Pauli Murray Center for History and Social 
Justice is directly related to its dual role as a community resource and 
collaborator. The Center’s existence is a result of the partnership between 
local and regional organizations as well as  passionate neighbors. In 
the Center’s first year of operation, new collaborations were nurtured or 
developed that yielded diverse income streams, expanded programming, 
and creative celebrations of Pauli Murray’s legacy. Collaborators included:
